The quality of the integration of titanium screw implants with distraction jaw reclaim in experiment
Abstract
The presented article describes the morphological quality of the integration if titanium implants, introduced into rabbit mandibular distraction reclaims of different degrees of maturity. The main conclusion is that the osteointegration of a titanium implant with a distraction reclaim takes place after its introduction into a reclaim after a period of fixation which is at least equal to the period of distraction.

The healing of a rabbit jaw bony defect under the influence of xenogenic mesenchymal marrow stem cells cultivated on titanium carriers
Abstract
In a rabbit experiment, the reparative process in the mandible going under the influence of human marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) was studied. It was demonstrated that the closure of mandibular defects with titanium plates without cells did not reestablish bone integrity, and the defects closed with rough-fiber connective tissue. Similarly, the closure of a defect with a titanium implant with killed MSC culture on its surface did not activate bone regeneration. The use of plates with alive MSC culture was associated with the activation of bone regeneration, leading to filling of mandibular bone defects with bone reclaim. The results are being analyzed.

A study of the biomechanical behavior of the maxillodental system with clasp prostheses from Titanid alloy and KHS
Abstract
Combined hysteretic behavior of spongy bone tissues and different constructional materials for whole piece clasp dental prosthesis, made on the basis of computer engineering technologies, were available in the article. It gives an opportunity to evaluate an ability of reconstruction of prosthesis form and bone tissue in combined loading. It can be used for definition of prosthesis geometry and prognosis of interaction with bone tissues.

Clinical features of chronic generalized periodontitis
Abstract
Different methodical approaches to the study of periodontopathies prevalence (examination of people seeking help at medical institutions or prophylactic examinations of various organized population groups) lead to conflicting results. The absence of pain or other unpleasant sensations at the early stage of the disease prevents patients from seeing a doctor, which makes studies and the collection of data on its epidemiology a challenge. According to some authors, periodontal diseases remain one of the chief problems of modern medicine and constitute the second most prevalent group among dental diseases. The incidence of the diseases and the degree of pathological changes are in reverse correlation with living standards and the level of oral hygiene. Of late, the have been many publications on the incidence of periodontal pathology in some system diseases, malocclusion, and abnormal tooth position. Not only the high prevalence, but also difficulties in treatment including incomplete periodontal tissue regeneration, make this problem one of the biggest challenges in dentistry.

Characterization of oral cavity microbiocenosis in totally toothless patients during the nearest post-implantation period
Abstract
The paper presents the results of a study of oral cavity microbiocenosis in totally toothless patients during the nearest post-implantation period. The study found a correlation between the number of implants and the degree of negative changes in the oral cavity microbiocenosis after dental implantation; these changes consisted in a significant increase in the colonization of the post-operation zone with gram-negative periodontopathogenic strains (P. melaninogenica, P. gingivalis, Fusobacterium spp.) and were most prominent after 5 to 6 implants vs. 2 to 4 were set.

The dynamics of microcirculation in the prosthesis bed mucosa of patients during the period of adaptation to complete removable prostheses
Abstract
The dynamic of patient adaptation to complete removable prostheses depending on the method of their fixation was studied. The results of Doppler ultrasonography demonstrated that patients with conventional removable prostheses that rested only on the mucosal membrane and the underlying bone tissue needed a substantial tension of adaptive and compensatory mechanisms vs. patients who had been treated with complete removable prostheses fixed on intra-osseal implants.

The assessment of the efficacy of complex therapeutic treatment of patients with fast progressing periodontitis according to the variables of vascular endothelial antiaggregatory properties and functional platelet activity
Abstract
In modern dentistry, the issue of atypical periodontal inflammatory diseases, namely fast progressing periodontitis (FPP), has become very important due to an increasing prevalence of the given pathology. The article covers one of the important pathogenesis links, which is microcirculation disorder in FPP patients, endothelial dysfunction resulting in the worsening of the clinical manifestation, dental status and quality of life, and methods to correct these disturbances.

On the issue of surgical tactics in posttraumatic facial deformations
Abstract
Management of the injured with facial deformations and defects is in the competition of not only maxillofacial surgeons, but also neurosurgeons, ophthalmologists, and otolaringologists. This creates contradictions in the treatment and rehabilitation of this category of patients and prolongs treatment, which makes functional and esthetic defects more prominent and disables people who otherwise would be capable of working. The authors'surgical tactics in treatment of this group of the injured included not only planning of the surgical intervention carried out in collaboration with related specialists, but also the embodiment of the plan by all necessary specialists during one surgery under general anesthesia. The application of these tactics made it possible to significantly shorten the terms of treatment and rehabilitation.

The results of complex preparation of prosthetic bed tissues to orthopedic treatment with removable dental prosthetic constructions
Abstract
The article describes various methods to prepare prosthetic bed tissues to rational tooth replacement; the authors evaluate the efficacy of these methods. To achieve optimal results, they recommend complex application of blood auto plasma enriched with platelets and fibrin proteins to fill postoperation defects and early dental replacement using two-layer removable constructions.

The role of the protein С system in the pathogenesis of coagulation disturbances in patients with chronic generalized and fast progressing periodontitis
Abstract
Changes in the protein С system, which are accompanied by the activation of its components, one the one hand, and their consumption within the process of intravascular coagulation, on the other, play a significant role during the acute stage of severe chronic periodontitis. The variables of the protein С system do not become normal in the stage of remission.

Diagnostic criteria of chronic generalized periodontitis
Abstract
The effects of stress on the occurrence of dental and gingival diseases have been demonstrated both in animal experiments and clinical studies. Stress syndrome is characterized by dual changes, damaging and adaptive ones, the degree of which determines the outcome. F. Z. Meyerson grounded the conception of stress-limiting systems. Their activation underlies stress adaptation by limiting stress-related, ischemic, and other kinds of lesions. Experimental and clinical studies demonstrate the important role of stress effects in the pathogenesis of periodontal lesions. These data suggest that more thorough evaluation of their significance for the ethiology, pathogenesis, prophylaxis, and treatment of periodontal diseases is necessary. Dentists should take into account high sensitivity of the periodontal tissues to stress effects.

Problems of education and post-graduate training of dentists in Kyrgyz republic
Abstract
The author discusses problems of education and post-graduate training of dentists in Kyrgyz republic and analyzes the number of specialists who had graduated from dental school and taken postgraduate courses of late. Regulation of the number of dental graduates and improvement of their training are regarded as the main problems.

From the history of Russian dental education in Harbin in the first half of the 20th century
Abstract
One of the first Russian medical schools in Harbin was The First Harbin Dental School, founded by dentist E. H. von Arnold in 1911. Students came to this school from Siberian and Far Eastern cities. Diplomas of The First Harbin Dental School were valid both in China and Soviet Russia. A. M. Yarugsky-Eruga, A. A. Konev, and Ye. A. Nasonov were among the teachers of the School. Far East had been served mostly by post-graduates of The First Harbin Dental School until the early forties. The Second Harbin Dental School was opened under Specialist Doctors Clinic in Harbin in 1927. By 1935, The Second Harbin Dental School had included dental, dental mechanic, and intern courses, as well as nurse courses. In the late 30th Russian Dental Schools in Harbin were closed due to Japanese occupation of Manchuria.
