«Конклав»: католическая вера, церковная политика и прогрессивная идеология

Аннотация

Статья посвящена политическому триллеру 2024 года на католическо-религиозную тематику «Конклав» – бестселлеру писателя Роберта Харриса и его одноимённой экранизации по удостоенному премии американской кинокадемии сценарию Питера Строхана. Рассматривается идейная суть произведения, его достоверность с точки зрения теологии и канонического права и место в текущем общественно-политическом дискурсе. Автор приходит к выводу, что, не будучи непосредственно антикатолическим, «Конклав» предлагает секулярную редукцию сложных богословских и духовных вопросов и продвигает прогрессивностскую повестку с целью превращения Римско-католической церкви в один из современных либеральных институтов, где Божественную Троицу заменяют Разнообразие, Равенство и Инклюзивность. Таким образом, гиорификация фильма Голливудом и американской мейнстримной кинокритикой во многом обусловлена не его художественными достоинствами, а в качестве очередного инструмента пропаганды в текущей культурной войне в США.
