Abstract

Background: Maintaining high performance of workers in hazardous working conditions requires the attention of health workers to their oral health and the organization of dental care for this contingent and their family members.

Aim: Statistical analysis of the work of dental departments of medical organizations of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia for 2024 in the Central Federal District.

Material and methods: The regulated statistical annual reports of institutions for 2024 (form 30 - tables: 5117; 5100; 3100; 2800; 2710; 2704; 2702; 2701; 2100; 1100; 1001), as well as a number of additional indicators for target requests, were analyzed.

Results: The analysis of annual reports for 2024 of dental departments of medical organizations of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia in the Central Federal District revealed that the indicators of provision of the adult population with dental doctors correspond to the same indicators in Russia, as well as the proximity of the indicators of seeking dental care. A smaller number of dentists in the personnel structure of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia was revealed in comparison with the regions of Russia. The activity of preventive work through annual examinations and sanitation of the oral cavity of workers with hazardous working conditions at the attached enterprises was shown.

Conclusions. Resources for improving the dental service of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia were identified in the direction of increasing the provision of the population with the recommendations of the Procedure for the Provision of Medical Care to the Adult Population for Dental Diseases (Order of July 31, 2020 N 786n), the staffing of existing staff with dental specialists, increasing the motivation of employees with out-of-work work to complete the sanitation of the oral cavity during periodic medical examinations and motivating the entire population to timely contact dentists for timely treatment of dental diseases. It is advisable to equip the dental service with modern dental and X-ray equipment. Improving the quality indicators of the dental service is relevant.
