DEFINITION OF AREA OF OCCLUSION CONTACTS OF DENTAL SERIES

Arutyunov S.D., Brutyan L.A., Antonik M.M., Scherbakov V.V.

Abstract

The author’s technique of instrumental precision diagnostics of the area offacets of increased erasure and erosion of hard tooth tissues is proposed. The aim of the study was to calculate the occlusal contact area in patients with tooth wear and in persons with a conditional norm (attrition by forces of normal mastication) with the help of occlusiograms (T-Scan) and Adobe Photoshop. We examined 13 patients with tooth wear and 20 persons with a conventional norm. We performed occlusiography with T-Scan, then processed the digital image of occlusal contacts using a special program, keeping the data in a single resolution. Prepared graphics were opened in the Adobe Photoshop program, scaled, calculated the number ofpixels in 1 mm2. Then, the total area of the facets of erasure was calculated taking into account the color indexation, which reflects the degree of intensity of the occlusal contacts.

Abstract

All-new bactericidal solutions to be used in dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, urology, obstetrics, gynaecology, ENT, proctology have been developed. By means of electric impulse and disperse condensate means, water and alcoholic (ethanolic) colloidal nanodispersed systems of metals have been procured and also their oxides based on: argentum (Ag), titanium dioxide (TiO), ferrous oxide (FeO), tantalum oxide (TaO), vanadium oxide (VO2), cobaltous oxide (CoO), tantalum dioxide TaO2, zink oxide (ZnO), cupric oxide (CuO), a mixed solution of: titanium dioxide (TiO), aluminium oxide (Al2O) and molybdenum dioxide (MoO). The research has been made on culture of dentobacterial plaque and mixed culture, issued from gingival spaces. The composition of culture was identified with S. aureus, S. epidermidis and nonfermentable kinds of E. coli. The observation period lasted more than nineteen days. All solutions showed highly prolonged bactericidal activity in dilutions from the whole solution 1-20 mg/L. Dilution step is tenfold (10-1; 10-2; IO-'; 10-4; 10-5; 10-6; 10-7). The bactericidal activity ofpowder specimen of glass, used to produce dental filling material and disintegrates of composite materials, issued by «StomaDent» CJSC, processed by Ag and FeO2 nanoparticles, have been studied. Tested materials have long, up to 19 days and more, bactericidal activity.

STATE OF PARADONT IN RATS AFTER IMPLANTOLOGICAL OPERATION ON THE BACKGROUND OF SUGAR DIABETES 2 TYPE

Dem'yanenko S.A., Drobyazko M.G., Rozhko P.D.

Abstract

In rats with experimental (protamine) type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2), the level of lysozyme and catalase decreases, the activity of urease, the degree of dysbiosis and the activity of elastase increase. Dental implantation on the background of CD2 aggravates the pathological condition of the gums. In the periodontal bone tissue of rats with CD2, a decrease in the activity of alkaline phosphatase (ACF) and an increase in the activity of acid phosphatase (CF), which reduces the mineralizing index (FF/CF) by more than 2.5 times. An increase in the activity of elastase in bone tissue by 36% indicates the development of inflammation. Dental implantation on the background of CD2 does not improve the condition of the periodontal bone tissue.
