Voronov I.A.

Abstract

Tribology tests of standards in the conditions of the Proof-of-concept laboratory offunctional surfaces covered and uncovered by sheeting «Armour» from the carbide of silicon was conducted by the method of the measuring skidding on the automated machine of friction(tribometer) of TRIBOMETER of firm CSM Instruments. The results of tribology tests treated by means of the computer program Instrum X (CSM Instruments, Switzerland). Profilometric research offurrows of wear on separate standards with coverage and without him with the purpose of determination of area of section of furrows for a subsequent calculation the brought wear over of standards conducted on the opticalprofilometer of WYKO NT1100firm Veeco(THE USA), Among studied it is necessary to distinguish a standard without coverage (Kvadrotti) and with coverage (Plastic(Ftoraks)), that at the indicated terms of tests showed very subzero(less than 0,1) constant of friction at his insignificant amplitude. It testifies to set constant of friction that did not almost change during all experiment (15 000 cycles equal to the year of the use of prosthetic appliance a patient For the best standard (Plastic (Ftoraks)), the brought wear over, that made 9*10 -6mm 3/(H*m). The same standard without coverage showed a wear more than twice higher ((1,4-0,9)/0,9), was expected.

Stady of the effects of molding massas on the casting properties of palladium alloy "PALLADIUM-UNY"

Kozlov V.A., Parunov V.A., Kozlov O.V., Stepanova G.S.

Abstract

Casting properties of a new domestic PALLADENT-UNI dental palladium-based alloy (Open Joint Stock Company Scientific and Industrial Complex “Supermetal” named after E.I. Rytvin) were investigated using three molding compositions, Yeti Expansion (Yeti Dental International GmbH, Germany), Presto Vest 2 (Siladent Dr .Bohme & Schops GmbH, Germany) and Silikan (Spofa Dental, Czech Republic) are among them. In addition, casting properties of PALLADENT-UNI and domestic palladium dental alloys (PALLADENT (Open Joint Stock Company Scientific and Industrial Complex “Supermetal” named after E.I.Rytvin) and VitIrii-P (Open Joint Stock Company “Vital-E”)) were comparatively studied; during the casting “Presto Vest 2” molding composition was applied. All the above mentioned palladium-based alloys are used mainlyfor the manufacture of metal-ceramic crowns and bridges. Using “Multicast Compact” casting machine (“DeguDent”, Germany) casting of the following alloy samples was carried out at 1280, 1320 and 1350°C: standard wax grid for partial dentures 10*20*0,3 mm with rectangular cells, wireframe model of a single metal-ceramic crown with a wall thickness of 0,3 mm, milled of burn-out plastic, and ash-free 20 mm long wires of 0,3, 0,2, 0,1 mm in diameter. On the basis of the research made, molding composition Presto Vest 2 was established to be optimum molding mass for casting dental structures made of PALLADENT-UNI alloy. Optimum casting temperature was found to be 1350°C, which provides high overflow (about 100%) of dental structures, minimum deadweight loss, and minimum linear mold shrinkage. Comparative evaluation of the technological properties of the new dental PALLADENT-UNI alloy and PALLADENT and VitIrii-P dental palladium alloys showed that PALLADENT-UNI alloy is not inferior to the prevalent dental alloys and has lower values of irretrievable losses.

Choice of rational parameters of articulation elements of bridges from the new alloy "PRAGODENT-PLUS"

Parunov V.A., Kolesov P.A., Bykova M.V.

Abstract

In the introduction to the dental practice of a new alloy entails a series ofexperimental studies that will determine the conditions for the effective application of the material. One of these methods is the mathematical modeling, which allows to determine the maximum allowable loads on the structure. For the full construction of a mathematical model, you need to take into account parameters such as Young s modulus, Poisson s ratio and yield strength materials in bending. Aim of this work was to study the distribution of stresses on the bridge, made of alloy «PLAGODENT-PLUS», with emerging oral functional loads and determine minimum acceptable parameters Square junction bridge elements, depending on the extent of the defect. Materials and Methods: For the study, we took a new alloy based on gold «PLAGODENT-PLUS», intendedfor the manufacture of metal-ceramic bridges and ceramic materials of different manufacturers. Young s modulus and Poisson s ratio for the material were determined by scanning acoustic microscopy pulse. Yield stress in bending for the alloy «PLAGODENT-PLUS» was obtained by mechanical testing at the center of collective using «Materials and Metallurgy» MISA NUST on a universal testing machine Z250 company Zwick. Investigation of stress-strain state of the finite element method was carried out in the program Ansys Workbench 14.5. For the study was to create a virtual model of a metal-ceramic bridge of different lengths (3.4 and 5 units). Results: As a result of our research were first obtained data on the elastic properties of the alloy «PLAGODENT-PLUS» and ceramic materials of different manufacturers. Identified by the minimum acceptable square joints in bridges on skeletons of a new alloy «PLAGODENT PLUS» depending on the extent of the defect.

Improving the safety of surgical procedures on the mandible, considering the individual anatomy of the nutrient foramens and micrccanals

Tarasenko S.V., Kusin A.V., Mikoyan A.S.

Abstract

Vascular injury in osteotomy step during dental implantation in the site of incisors and canines of the mandible can cause bleeding and the subsequent development of mouth floor hematoma. Generally, these complications are associated with iatrogenic fault of the lingual cortical bone integrity and vascular microchannels of the mandible involving the braches of sublingval artery. The authors studied CBCT archival data of 144 patients at the Department of Dental Surgery (I.M. Sechenov MSMU). Nutrient foramens and mandibular microchannels topography have been studied by software. It was found nutrient foramens: above the chin spine (84.09%), at the chin spine (93.17%), foramen located laterally and slightly below the chin spine at the digastric fossa (68.17%). All of these nutrient foramens had intraosseous continuation as microchannels with different diameters. The authors recommend at the planning stage of dental implantation, especially, in the anterior region of the mandible consider the location of nutrient foramina on the lingual surface of the mandible, to prevent complications.

The main aspects of onset, clinical signs, treatment and prevention of chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis

Galizina O.A.

Abstract

Chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis is one of the most frequent oral mucosal lesions which is characterized by the recurrent formation of aphthae and by the long clinical course with periodical presentation of signs. The exacerbation of recurrent stomatitis may be caused by the body state, by the seasonal character of allergic reactions, by changes of hormonal profile and by some other factors. It’s not rare that this condition is triggered by gastrointestinal diseases, helminthic invasions, severe quinsy or flu. Morphological lesions of chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis represent aphthae localized in any area of the mucous membrane, but the most frequent location is the mucous membrane around the lips, cheeks, the lateral side of the tongue and the mucobuccal fold. The lesions affecting the mucous membrane are usually round in shape and covered by grayish-white fibrinous membrane. The treatment of chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis, as the treatment of any lesion without clearly determined etiology and pathogenesis is not an easy task. General treatment and local treatment are chosen individually for each patient. General treatment includes a rigid diet excluding possible allergens, spicy and salty food; administration of non-specific desensitization medication: histaglobin, pirogenal, prodigiosine and lysozymes; vitamin therapy with the administration of ascorbic acid, pyridoxine, riboflavin, folic acid and nicotinamide. If the ulcers are deep, it is indicated to administer prednisolone in a basic or alternative way. The aim of local treatment is to manage the painful sensations, to strengthen the local immunity, to fight the infectious flora and to heal the affected mucous membrane. Clinical immunological tests aimed at finding associated pathologies are very important in treatment and prevention of chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis.

Diagnosis of speech disorders and ways of their elimination in patients with acquired defects of the upper jaw

Malginov N.N., Reshetov I.V., Zubkov A.F., Korzhov I.S.

Abstract

This article describes a method of diagnosis of speech disorders, the results of their own research, as well as a method of modernization of the prosthesis of the obturator to correct speech disorders. The study was conducted with the help of the developed tables that contain the two-letter syllables. Diagnostic sounds at the beginning of the syllable contains an open vowel. Special attention is paid explosive consonants as characteristic sounds in the diagnosis of speech disorders in patients with acquired defects of the upper jaw of the second group C.Y. Courland. To identify the quality of speech used quantitative parameters, among which: • frequency characteristics of each sound; • the ratio of the rise time of the envelope sound intensity to the total duration of the sound; • the ratio of the duration bows explosive consonants to the duration of the pronunciation of the sound (for smycnyx consonants); • the ratio of the amplitude of the sound intensity of the explosion to the amplitude of the noise components during the bows. The evolution of the recovery process speech formulated in four audio recordings made at different stages of complex rehabilitation ofpatients. Write vowels were used to identify speech rate and save formant frequencies in different periods of life of the patient. Frequency analysis was performed to control the absence of the influence of the established prostheses sounds that should not be changed in this scheme ofprosthetics. As a result of inadequate prosthesis in the process of speech occurs the flow of air from the oral cavity into the nasal cavity. This effect causes the presence of the nasal formant in the acoustic component of the voice. Pronunciation of smycnyx consonants are analyzed in part two-letter syllables, where SMACNA followed by a vowel. The end of the vowel sound means the beginning of bows, formed the increased pressure in the oral cavity and subsequent explosion in the opening of the lips. Expert evaluation revealed no significant differences in the sound of the syllables containing Nesmachnyi consonants pre-and final phases of complex rehabilitation. Selective instrumental analysis coincides with an expert assessment: differences in the spectral characteristics of the sounds are practically absent. For the full differentiation of the oral cavity from the nasal cavity of the proposed use adhesive paste-like consistency of the material. The result of the execution of measures for sealing the mouth shows a significant improvement in speech quality. The result is confirmed by the expert and instrumental evaluation of audio recordings.
